PURPOSE: A method for controlling power in accordance with degrees of a channel change in a mobile communication system is provided to measure degrees of a channel change in a receiving end, and to inform a transmitting end that the degrees change, then to determine a power control period in accordance with the changed degrees, thereby efficiently carrying out power control. CONSTITUTION: A receiving end measures degrees of a channel change(ST11). The receiving end stores the measured change degrees of a current channel and change degrees of a previous channel(ST11). The receiving end compares the stored change degrees of the current channel with the change degrees of the previous channel(ST11). The receiving end checks whether the channel degrees of the current channel are equal to the change degrees of the previous channel(ST12). If not, the receiving end updates a power control period(ST11). |
