Cosmetic composition comprises polyphenolic compound for activating mitochondrial aconitase, as an active ingredient mixed with excipients. ACTIVITY : Dermatological. MECHANISM OF ACTION : Mitochondrial aconitase activator. The ability of the composition to activate the mitochondrial aconitase was tested in keratinocytes of 36 year old woman. The result showed that the composition exhibited percentage of mitochondrial aconitase activation of 63.
