METHOD FOR CULTURING CELL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for simply and surely peeling cultured cells from a cell culture carrier without damaging the cultured cells.

SOLUTION: This method for peeling the cell culture carrier (for example, a cell culture carrier containing a calcium alginate gel layer and a cell-adhesive gel layer) from the cultured cells formed on the surface of the cell culture carrier involves a process for contacting the cell culture carrier with a compound represented by the general formula (I) (L11is a divalent bonding group; M is H or a cation) or polyphosphoric acid or its salt.
