PURPOSE: A method and a device for displaying the registration information of an image forming device are provided to remove the troublesomeness for manually searching the desired information by automatically searching/displaying the registration information only with the simple button operation. CONSTITUTION: An information display checker(40) checks that the first information for the update driver or the second information for supplies is requested, and outputs a check result as a control signal. The first location generator(42) generates/outputs the first location by composing a country code of the Windows installing the driver, a model name of the driver, and the driver update data in response to the control signal. The first information display part(44) searches the first location and displays the first information provided from the first location. The second location generator(46) generates/outputs the second location by composing the country code, the model name, and the supplies data in response to the control signal. The second information display part(48) searches the second location and displays the second information provided from the second location.
