SLEEP-PREVENTING SYSTEM USING UNCONSCIOUS BREATH DETECTION

PURPOSE: A sleep-preventing system using unconscious breath detection is provided to prevent drowsiness driving by detecting and analyzing driver's breath using unconscious breath detection and to reduce the cost. CONSTITUTION: A sleep-preventing system using unconscious breath detection has a breath detection unit(11) detecting a driver's breath signal; a breath analysis unit(12) analyzing the breath signal detected from the breath detection unit and outputting an alarm signal in case of a drowsiness state; and an alarm device(13) raising an alarm if the alarm signal is received from the breath analysis unit. The breath detection unit has a high molecular compound plate(111) sensing the tensile force and the restoring force given by driver's breath; a strain gauge sensor(112) changing resistance if receiving the tensile force and the restoring force from the high molecular compound plate; and a bridge circuit(113) detecting a resistance change and converting the resistance change into a digital breath signal. The breath detection unit is attached to a seat belt.
