The dispenser has a food basket including hot and cold basket stored in a pile of a refrigerator chamber (19). The food basket is removed from the pile and left through a hatch (21) at a time of meals by a programmed control, manual control, or remote control. Drive trains are arranged in horizontal plane at a level of the hatch for transporting the food basket to a presentation area (25) through a heating zone. The dispenser has a receptacle including cold and hot basket, which are fit into each other for forming the food basket.
