<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel cell system for improving convenience through a quick start-up. <P>SOLUTION: The fuel cell system is provided with a continuous drive fuel cell 2A continuously supplied with fuel, a non-continuous drive fuel cell 2B supplied with fuel as needed, a non-continuous drive fuel supply part 32B supplying the non-continuous drive fuel cell 2B with fuel, and a control means controlling drive of the non-continuous drive fuel supply part 32B with the use of electric energy output from the continuous drive fuel cell 2A. Electrochemical reaction occurs at all times at the continuous drive fuel cell 2A with electric energy output, and the control means drives the non-continuous drive fuel supply part 32B with the use of the electric energy to have the non-continuous drive fuel cell 2B generate power to start up the whole fuel cell system. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
