BLUE-VIOLET LASER PHOTOSENSITIVE COMPOSITION, IMAGE FORMING MATERIAL USING SAME, IMAGING MATERIAL AND METHOD FOR FORMING IMAGE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a blue-violet laser photosensitive composition having high sensitivity for laser light in a blue-violet region and being suitable as a dry film resist for direct drawing, and to provide a method for forming an image by using the composition.

SOLUTION: The blue violet laser photosensitive composition contains: (A) an ethylenically unsaturated compound; (B) a sensitizing dye having a tetrahydroquinone ring and having the maximum peak of the spectral sensitivity in a blue violet region; (C) a photopolymerization initiator; and (D) a polymerization accelerator comprising an ester or a bipolar ionic compound of amino acid and/or (E) a styrene-(meth)acrylate-(meth)acrylic acid copolymer. The image forming material has a layer of the above photosensitive composition on a temporary supporting film. The photosensitive composition layer is scanned and exposed to laser light at 390 to 430 nm wavelength and developed to produce a negative image.
