<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a frequency switching antenna and a mobile communication terminal with an enhanced degree of design freedom by solving a defect in impedance matching and enhancing antenna characteristics and the performance of an RF circuit. <P>SOLUTION: A frequency switching antenna section 30 includes: an antenna element 1 capable of obtaining a constant resonance frequency by changing the electric length of the element by first and second feeding points 3, 4; first and second feeding point switches 5, 6 for electrically conducting either of feeders 26, 27 individually connected to the feeding points and electrically interrupting the other; first and second matching circuits 7, 8 individually independently provided on the feeders and for taking impedance matching of the element connected to the electrically conducted feeding point via the feeding point switch; and a feeder changeover switch 9 for selecting only the feeder electrically conducted by the feeding point switch and whose impedance is matched by the matching circuit. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
