<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lumbago preventive mattress, with which a person lying on it can become in a natural body position like that when the person stands up, avoid any stress concentration to his/her particular body parts, release his/her waist bones and muscles from unnecessary burdens, and thus effectively prevent or relieve the lumbago. <P>SOLUTION: This lumbago preventive mattress has a sink-down preventive layer 20 made of an elastic film such as urethane film laminated on at least one side surface to receive pressure of a sheet-like gel placed between foaming mattresses 10 and 11.
