FORWARD/REVERSE ROTARY COMPRESSOR OPERATION CONTROL DEVICE AND METHOD OF REFRIGERATOR WITH POLE-CHANGING MOTOR

PURPOSE: A forward/reverse rotary compressor operation control device and method of a refrigerator with a pole-changing motor is provided to rotate forward or reverse a compressor to an operation mode of the refrigerator selected by users and to increase operation efficiency of the refrigerator by operating the compressor to 2 or 4-pole by using the pole-changing motor applied with a hysteresis band. CONSTITUTION: A forward/reverse rotary compressor operation control device of a refrigerator with a compressor for rotating forward and reverse and changing poles is composed of a mode selecting unit(15) for selecting an operation mode of the refrigerator by users; a microcomputer(12) for outputting an operation control signal for controlling the operation direction of the compressor and a pole-changing control signal for controlling the pole-change of a pole-changing motor to the operation mode of the refrigerator selected by the mode selecting unit; a forward/reverse rotation signal generating unit(11) for driving the compressor by generating a forward or reverse rotation signal by the operation control signal of the microcomputer; and a pole-changing signal generating unit(14) for driving the compressor by generating the pole-changing signal for selecting 2 or 4-pole of the pole-changing motor by the pole-changing control signal of the microcomputer.
