<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an NMDA (M-methyl-D-aspartate) receptor antagonist containing γ-glutamyl-ethylamide for antagonizing the NMDA receptor and to elucidate the optimum dose of the NMDA receptor antagonist in which ion channel-containing receptors include a nicotinic acetylcholine receptor, a glycine receptor, an NMDA receptor, etc., the ion channel contained in the receptor molecule is opened by combination of each neurotransmitter with the receptor, intracellular inflow of relatively specific ion occurs in each receptor to exhibit the function of the receptor. <P>SOLUTION: The NMDA receptor antagonist contains γ-glutamyl-ethylamide.
