<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a positioning device which can perform a next operation such as a rapid positioning sucking operation, a mounting operation, etc. at a time point of moving to a target position and being positioned. <P>SOLUTION: The positioning device includes a servo motor 1, a position moving means 3 for moving a suction nozzle 2 to a designated target position by this servo motor 1, a main controller 4 having the function of a parameter output means for outputting the parameters of the values regarding the target position and a moving speed, and a positioning controller 20 for forming a moving speed curve by the parameter output from this main controller 4 and starting the positioning operation according to an operation stating command.
