<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a digital camera which has a simple circuit constitution and includes an electronic flash circuit capable of stable light emission quantity control. <P>SOLUTION: The digital camera is equipped with an imaging element 1 which photographs a subject, a shutter blade 2 which is arranged in front of the imaging element 1, an actuator 3 which drives the shutter blade 2 to open and close, the electronic flash circuit 9 which emits light when necessary, and a control part 5 which controls the actuator 3 and the electronic flash circuit 9. The control member 5 outputs a trigger signal TRG to the electronic flash circuit 9 in the middle of the closing stroke of the shutter blade 2 to perform electronic flash lighting. Namely, a position detection part 5 is provided which detects the position of the shutter blade 2 in the closing stroke, and the control part 5 monitors the output of the position detection part 4 and outputs the trigger signal TRG when the shutter blade 2 reaches a predetermined target position. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI |
