<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a programmable logic controller which permits a sequence CPU module to communicate with an external tool via a general-purpose communication network, without installing a communication module. <P>SOLUTION: In the programmable logic controller which has the sequence CPU module for executing a sequence program and communicates with the external tool via the general-purpose communication network, a general-purpose CPU module is provided which executes communication between the external tool and the sequence CPU module, by means of a communication driver for connecting to the general-purpose communication network and an application program, via a communication driver between CPUs. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
