<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an always usable wireless pointing device allowing a power-saving design, not requiring carrying of either of an auxiliary battery and a wired mouse, and to provide a wireless mouse and a personal computer. <P>SOLUTION: This wireless pointing device has the wireless mouse 12 and the personal computer 11. The personal computer 11 has a reception-side wireless interface 13 for inputting a signal from the wireless mouse 12, and a reception-side wired interface 16 with a power supply part. The wireless mouse 12 has; a mouse operation circuit 19 outputting a signal; a transmission-side wireless interface 14 transmitting the signal; a transmission-side wired interface 17 transmitting the signal through a connection cable 18, and having a power reception part connected to the power supply part through a power line; a charger 22 connected to the power reception part; a rechargeable battery 21; a voltage detection circuit 23; and a wire/wireless changeover circuit 20. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
