<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent recording of a cassette tape even when recording permission/inhibition of a cassette tape is set without detecting the presence of a hole for preventing the recording of a cassette tape, and a recording key for instructing recording is depressed by mistake. <P>SOLUTION: The recording permission/inhibition of the cassette tape is set and stored into a memory. When the recording inhibition is set and recording is instructed, the recording inhibition is displayed on the screen of a monitor to prevent recording. When the recording permission is set and recording is instructed, the warning of recording is displayed to prevent recording.
