<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To safely, surely and easily carry out the connecting work of fiber optic cables in an exposing recording device which uses fusion connection or mechanical splice connection to connect the fiber optic cables at the time of replacing a laser diode. <P>SOLUTION: An image recording device 10 has a light source 12 and an enclosure 18. The light source 12 includes a plurality of laser diodes 20, a plurality of fiber optic cables coupled one to one to these laser diodes and having fiber optic cables 24 and fiber optic cables 26 connected to each other, and a beam emission part 30 guided by the plurality of fiber optic cables to emit a plurality of laser lights. An enclosure 18 covers the light source 12, and has a take-out opening 56 for taking at least one of the laser diodes 20 and the fiber optic cable coupled to the laser diode to the outside.
