摘要 <p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotation transmission device capable of controlling a two-way clutch with high accuracy by a compact electromagnetic coil. <P>SOLUTION: A two-way clutch 20, an armature 30 which is locked by a retainer 24 of the two-way clutch 20 and which is movable in an axial direction, a synchronized mechanism 40 which is activated by axial force to be loaded and which absorbs relative difference between rotational speeds of the input side member 1 and the output side member 10, and an electromagnetic coil 60 for loading the axial force to the synchronized mechanism 40 and the armature 30 are incorporated between an input side member 1 and the output side member 10. A drive plate 51 and a driven plate 52 which is locked onto the drive plate 51 and the input side member 1 and which is movable in the axial direction are incorporated between the electromagnetic coil 60 and the synchronized mechanism 40. A torque cam mechanism 53 is provided between the plates 51, 52. The drive plate 51 is absorbed by excitation to the electromagnetic coil 60. The driven plate 52 is moved in the axial direction by the torque cam mechanism 53. The axial force is loaded onto the synchronized mechanism 40 and the armature 30. By so doing, the two-way clutch is brought into a coupling state, and the two-way clutch 20 is brought into a connected state. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI</p>
