PIPE FIXING DEVICE FORMING PLURAL OF RESILIENT JAWS

PURPOSE: A pipe fixing device is provided to form a plurality of resilient jaws serving as a wedge to fix the pipe so as to maintain the pipe in a vertical direction. CONSTITUTION: A pipe fixing device is composed of a body(10), a plurality of jaws(20) and a cylindrical leaf spring(30) for engaging the jaw. The body has a tapered inner periphery(12) and a step(11) hooked with the end of a pipe(1). The jaws are guided into the tapered inner periphery of the body to press an outer periphery of the pipe so as to fix the pipe. The cylindrical leaf spring has a plurality of cutout lines from the lower portion(31) to the middle portion in a same interval. When pressing the spring, a plurality of resilient pieces(33) formed between the cutout lines bends outward. A plurality of engagement holes(34) are formed on the upper side of the resilient pieces in an arc shape to engage the plurality of jaws.
