PURPOSE: Provided is a coating agent for coating the surface of filler sand for closing a molten iron-discharging hole of a ladle, which effectively prevents the sintering of the filler sand caused by a molten metal in spite of a longtime refining process. CONSTITUTION: The coating agent for coating the filler sand comprises 60-90wt% of an alcohol, 2-10wt% of a thermosetting resin, 4-15wt% of carbon powder, and 4-15wt% of zircon(ZrSiO4) or comprises 60-90wt% of an alcohol, 2-10wt% of a thermosetting resin, 4-10wt% of carbon powder, 2-10wt% of graphite, and 2-10wt% of zircon(ZrSiO4), wherein 2.0-6.0wt% of the coating agent is added to 100wt% of the filler sand. |
