<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recycling technique of resources with which a rare metal that is a valuable resource contained in a fluorescent powder mixture in the interior of a cathode-ray tube of a fluorescent lamp tube or a display can be separated and recovered in a simple step by an economical method. <P>SOLUTION: The technique for solid separation comprises separating three-wave fluorescent powder containing the rare earth element and recovered from a disposed fluorescent tube into each of three-wave components without substantially dissolving the host crystal, etc. Thereby, each phosphor powder can be separated and recovered from the powder mixture such as the phosphor powder by liquid-liquid separation. In the technique, 2-thenoyltrifluoroacetone, potassium sodium tartrate, sodium carbonate. n-heptane, chloroform, N,N-dimethylformamide, dodecylamine, sodium 1-octanesulfonate, ethanol, 1-pentanol, water, etc., are used to efficiently achieve the separation according to a simple and economical method. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
