<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display substrate which is improved in the heat resistance, the dimensional stability and the coefficient of linear expansion. <P>SOLUTION: Bisphenol (A) having a bisphenol skeleton prepared by substituting an alicyclic hydrocarbon for the propane moiety is used and crosslinked by introducing a crosslinking functional group or by using together with a crosslinking monomer.
