<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disposable diaper which is a developing type disposable diaper to be mounted by fixing its right and left waist band parts to the ventral side of a wearing person, which is excellent in mounting property in lying and standing postures, and which is excellent in absorbing performance and leakage preventing performance. <P>SOLUTION: A standing gather is formed on both longer sides of the diaper. In an region where an absorbent member is arranged at a crotch, an region having a lateral bending stiffness of ≤25cN/50mm is provided. The standing gather is arranged at an extension ratio of ≥100% and has such tensile characteristic in their state not fixed to the diaper that the tensile load required to extend to an effective extension ratio is 20 to 120 cN and that the increase rate of tensile load required for extending from an extension ratio of 20% up to the effective extension ratio is 1.0 cN/% or lower, the effective extension ratio being 30% lower than the fixing extension ratio. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
