<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an exhaust gas cleaning catalyst, particularly, a catalyst capable of cleaning the exhaust from a two-stroke two-wheel vehicle in excellent performance, which is manufactured by using inexpensive ruthenium stable in price without using an expensive noble metal. <P>SOLUTION: This method for manufacturing the exhaust gas cleaning catalyst comprises a step of depositing ruthenium as an active metal by adsorption on a porous wash-coated carrier and a step of depositing platinum of 1.5-10 parts weight on the basis of 1 part weight of ruthenium on the ruthenium-deposited carrier by impregnation. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
