<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accomplish the subject in which a movable body supported with a photocatalyst and the photocatalyst removed from the movable body are discharged from the inside of an apparatus, and solve the problem of clogging of a filter, or the like, for preventing the photocatalyst and a supporting body of the photocatalyst from discharging from the inside of the apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: The movable body 3 supported with the photocatalyst and a fluid to be treated flow in from the upper part of a photocatalyst reactor 1, while passing through a gap between a light source body shrouding plate 4 and a light source body 2, and the photocatalyst supported with the movable body 3 decomposes an organic material contained in the fluid to be treated due to light from the light source body 2, and moves to the lower part of the photocatalyst reactor to reach a reactor partition plate 5. A large number of the movable bodies 3 reached to the reactor partition plate 5 are mounted on the reactor partition plate 5 to be spread into the photocatalyst reactor 1 due to turbulent flow in the photocatalyst reactor 1. Thus, most part of the movable bodies 3 remains within the photocatalyst reactor 1 and a ratio in contact with the light from the light source becomes larger. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
