<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information display device capable of automatically scrolling and displaying information, and improving the convenience of a user by automatic scroll display. <P>SOLUTION: Character information to be displayed is automatically scrolled and displayed from right to left (solid-white arrow direction) at an LCD 12. When a track ball 14 is operated in a left direction, the scroll speed of the information displayed at the LCD 12 is increased. When it is operated in a right direction, the scroll speed is reduced.
