<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for treating a lead-containing substance, which efficiently dissolves and extracts lead from the lead-containing substance such as fly ash containing lead, with a small amount of an agent, and to provide a treatment facility therefor. <P>SOLUTION: The method for treating the lead-containing substance comprises: the dissolution step of dissolving one part of the lead-containing substance into an acidic or alkaline liquid; the solid-liquid separation step of obtaining a dissolution extract and an undissolved residue from the liquid used for the dissolution; the lead removal and separation step of selectively separating and removing lead from the dissolution extract; the redissolution step of charging the undissolved residue into the dissolution extract from which lead has been selectively separated and removed, and dissolving the residue; and the step of separating the redissolved solution into a solid and a liquid to extract lead contained in the undissolved residue. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
