The telephone has a security module such as SIM card (4) in Java virtual machine and cryptophony software application. The card has an applet (6) and private authentication keys. The applet generates and transmits session keys for encrypting and integrity sealing confidential information, to the application. The applet authenticates the telephone and encrypts the information without transmitting session key to the application.
