The skateboard (10), fitted with two front wheels (31), two central wheels (33), and a pair of smaller wheels (32) at the back, is provided with a battery (43) operated electric drive (40) acting on the central rollers (33). Three foot operated switches (61, 62, 63), integrated in the front area (13), can be used in order to move the board (10) straight ahead, to the left, or to the right. The motion is interrupted when the foot is lifted from the switch (61, 62, 63).
