PURPOSE: An automatic gas timer locking device of a gas range is provided to turn quickly a knob to an original position and to stop a motor by engaging a gear for turning a gas valve knob and a gear connected to a motor shaft. CONSTITUTION: An automatic gas timer locking device of a gas range sets the use time, supplies power to a motor(17), quickly returns a valve to an original position in a lock state by rotating and engaging a gear(12) connected with a motor shaft to a gear(11) installed at the gas valve knob, cuts off the power supply of the motor, and then completes the system. The automatic gas timer locking device is attached to or separated from the front side of the gas range. The gear of the motor shaft connected to the knob is pulled and separated not to interfere the rotation of the knob if the knob is freely used without setting the time.
