PURPOSE: To provide a small ceiling of electric furnace, wherein creased circular panels on which projecting parts and depression parts are formed such that anchors are installed at the projecting and depression parts are installed at the lower side of electrode holes formed on an insulation castable to effectively protect the small ceiling from high temperature and extend exchange period of small and large ceilings. CONSTITUTION: The small ceiling(23) of electric furnace comprises an insulation castable(31) on which a plurality of electrode holes(41) are formed so that a plurality of electrodes are installed through the electrode holes, and which is constructed on a central part of a large ceiling with an insulation castable holder(39) being interposed between the insulation castable and the large ceiling to form an upper surface of the small ceiling; creased circular panels(33) constructed at the lower side of the respective electrode holes formed on the insulation castable to expand a fusion space of splash slag generated during melting operation; supporting panels(35) installed between the outer wall of the respective creased circular panels and the insulation castable holder to support the outer wall of the plurality of the creased circular panels; and a center jacket(37) installed between reciprocal adjacent parts of the plurality of the creased circular panels to support the adjacent parts of the plurality of the creased circular panels.
