PROCESS FOR PRODUCING INORGANIC SPHERES HAVING UNIFORM PARTICAL SIZES AND APPARATUS THEREFOR

PURPOSE: To provide a process for producing inorganic spheres, which is able to continuously and stably provide inorganic spheres having highly uniform particle sizes with high productivity, and an apparatus therefor. CONSTITUTION: The process comprises the steps of (a) injecting an aqueous liquid containing an inorganic compound into a laminar flow of an organic liquid which runs at a flow rate of from 0.001 to 2 m/s in a flow path through a porous membrane to form a W/O type emulsion; and (b) solidifying the aqueous liquid containing an inorganic compound in the W/O type emulsion.
