<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a floating type connector excellent in productivity for contacts and assembling productivity for the connector, which can be made small and highly compact, and its manufacturing method. <P>SOLUTION: This floating type connector 1 is provided with a plurality of contacts 30A, 30B arranged at least in one row in a housing 10. Each of the contacts 30A, 30B has fixed parts 31A, 31B fixed to the housing 10, contact parts 35A, 35B making contact with a counterpart contact 52, leg parts 34A, 34b, and curved elastic parts 33A, 33B provided between the fixed parts 31A, 31B and the leg parts 34A, 34B. The planes of the elastic parts 33A, 33B extend along the arranged direction of the contacts. Bent parts 32A, 32B are provided between the fixed parts 31A, 31B and the elastic parts 33A, 33B or between the elastic parts 33A, 33B and the leg parts 34A, 34B, and thereby, the leg parts 34A, 34B of the plural contacts 30A, 30B are arranged in zigzag. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
