<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method by which the deviation of alignment between a functional material and a lens is little, then, a high performance optical device is manufactured. <P>SOLUTION: The manufacturing method for a optical device comprises the steps of: imparting liquid repellency or lyophilic property to the surface of banks 11 dividing a prescribed region; forming a lens 13 by using liquid lens material 12 in the banks 11; and arranging the functional material 14, 15, 16 on the lens 13 formed in the banks 11. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
