<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the efficient position of the screw traversing a bone nail in the axial center direction thereof without causing the damage of the screw. <P>SOLUTION: The bone nail, especially a proximal femoral bone nail includes a nail shaft part 12 having at least one lateral hole 14 and an axial center hole 26 with a screw part provided in the vicinity of one end thereof and is equipped with a screw 18, which has a screw part 24 and the smooth shaft part 20 provided between the screw part 24 and a screw head 22 and introduced into the lateral hole 14, and the connection pin 36 with a male screw part 42 which interacts with the female thread part 30 of the axial center hole 26. The end part of the connection pin 36 is locked with the smooth shaft part of the screw to position the shaft part in the axial center direction.
