<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To propose a solvent recovering apparatus the equipment cost and running cost of which are reduced, in which a trouble or a breakdown is hardly occurred, which is excellent in safety, in which dehydrating work can be performed in a short period of time and which has an improved recovery rate of a solvent. <P>SOLUTION: This solvent recovering apparatus 1 is provided with a heat exchanger 3 arranged on an exhaust duct 2 of exhaust gas B containing the vaporized solvent A for condensing the solvent A in the gas B into liquid, a recovery tank 5 in which a recovered liquid F where the water E is mixed in the solvent C, both of which are condensed into liquid and recovered at the same time by the exchanger 3, is made to flow down and stored and a decompressing/dehydrating unit 6 to which the liquid F is supplied from the tank 5, in which the water E mixed in the liquid F is vaporized/removed by decompressing/heating the liquid F and from which the purified solvent C is withdrawn. The unit 6 is provided with an aspirator 12 and a heater 13.
