<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stairs unit for improving assembling accuracy of treads and an open string, and capable of firmly fixing the treads and the open string. <P>SOLUTION: This stairs unit has a plurality of treads 20 for arranging an installing member 22 on an under surface, and the open string 11 having a plurality of receiving parts 12 for supporting the treads 20. A longitudinally extending groove 13 is arranged on an upper surface in the receiving parts 12, and the installing member 22 engages with the groove 13. Vertical and lateral positions of the treads 20 can be determined by engaging the installing member 22 with the groove 13, and a longitudinal position can be determined by abutting the treads 20 on the open string 11, so that stairs can be efficiently assembled. Since the groove 13 engages with the installing member 22, the adhesive area is increased, so that the open string 11 and the treads 20 can be further firmly adhered to each other. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
