<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an endoscope which can sterilize the inside of a built-in long and thin pipe conduit quickly and certainly by high temperature and high pressure vapor. <P>SOLUTION: An insertion section 7 which is inserted in a body cavity or the like is penetrated by a long and thin pipe conduit 45 of which the front end of the pipe conduit 45a is open to the outside at a pointed head section 17 and the rear end of the pipe conduit 45b is open to the outside at the vicinity of the rear end of an operation section 8, and a connection code 9 is penetrated by a long and thin pipe conduit 46 of which the rear end of the pipe conduit 46a is open at an inlet cap 26 of a connector section 10 and the front end of the pipe conduit 46b is open at the operation section 8. A liquid can be poured in the rear end of the pipe conduit 46b and delivered vigorously from the front end of the pipe conduit 45a by connecting the rear end of the pipe conduit 45b and the front end of the pipe conduit 46a with a connection tube 47 when an endoscopic examination is performed, and the two short pipe conduits 45 and 46 can be quickly and certainly sterilized by removing the connection tube 47 when cleansing or sterilization by the high-temperature and high-pressure vapor is performed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
