PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information providing system for a portable terminal and an information providing server for a portable terminal which can securely and easily manage game media corresponding to the kind of a game and can sufficiently secure fairness of a game result even when a plurality of kinds of games are provided for a portable terminal.

SOLUTION: Management data to show a value corresponding to the number of playable games are stored, and a value of management data when a game program is executed by a portable terminal is converted to the number of virtual game media to be an object of betting when a game is started.
