PURPOSE: A system and a method for increasing a data processing rate to an application from a device driver by using thread scheduling are provided to reinforce a possibility that requested data is used for prompt transfer by transferring data to the application to increase usability of synchronized processing with use of the thread scheduling. CONSTITUTION: A thread manager(120) manages the thread scheduling of a computer system. The application(72) processes data items. A data queue(76) stores the data items ready to be transferred to the application. The device driver(70) forwards the data items to the application. The device driver stores the data items ready to be transferred to the application in the data queue. Checking the data queue, the application synchronously receives the data items stored in the data queue if the data in the data queue is over a threshold, and raises a thread level of the device driver if not.
