<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a water resistant molded article maintaining high ion exchange characteristics, having hydrogen ion concentration (pH) being approximately neutral and using zeolite powder and having excellent water resistant property. <P>SOLUTION: The zeolite powder such as natural zeolite, synthetic zeolite and artificial zeolite, an adhesion treatment material obtained by formulating one or a plurality of kinds of starches, mannan, a cellulose derivative, polyvinyl alcohol, vinyl acetate and an ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer and water are kneaded, molded to a predetermined shape and dried. Then, after this molded product is immersed in a solution of a water-base film-forming organic compound, it is dried, or the water-base film-forming organic compound is added to any zeolite powder, the one or the plurality of kinds-formulated adhesion treatment material and water.
