<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing a thick-film resistor by which the resistance value of the thick-film resistor does not vary largely even when a low surface voltage such as static electricity etc. is impressed upon thick-film resistance bodies and which is surge-resistant and excellent in resistance value accuracy can be manufactured. <P>SOLUTION: The method of manufacturing the thick-film resistor includes a step of forming top-surface electrodes 14 on the top surface of a sheet-like substrate 13 by a screen printing method, and a step of forming the thick-film resistance bodies 15 on the top surface of the sheet-like substrate 13 by the screen printing method so that the resistance bodies 15 are connected electrically to the top-surface electrodes 14. After the thick-film resistance bodies 15 are formed, resistance values of the resistance bodies 15 formed among the top-surface electrodes 14 are adjusted to desired values by impressing high-voltage surges upon the resistance bodies 15 and, thereafter, trimming the resistance bodies 15. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
