<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To protect a card in processing and to prevent its unauthorized use as well as to stock the card with a simple construction. <P>SOLUTION: In front of a fixed frame 1b of a card reader-writer unit body 1, a shutter plate 10 which is provided with a flap 10a for covering a card insertion port 2 at one end integrally with a projection 10b for pushing up a stored card 3 at the other end is born by a rotating shaft 10c and installed in the form of a seesaw so that it can tilt.
