<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rubber composition suitable for a golf ball, which excels in roll processability while maintaining hardness and high resilience. <P>SOLUTION: The rubber composition for a golf ball incorporates 10-50 pts. wt. of a co-crosslinker based on 100 pts. wt. of a base polymer containing a polybutadiene characterized in that it is produced by using as the polymerization catalyst a composition containing (A) a samarium complex, (B) an ionic compound consisting of a non-coordinated anion and a cation, and/or aluminoxane, and (C) M-H (wherein M is a substituent containing a hydrogen or a metal atom; and H is a hydrogen atom). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
