<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a holding detection device of a window glass capable of setting a detection load of the holding at a low level without causing any wrong decision on the holding. <P>SOLUTION: A control section 12 calculates strength of vibration in each oscillation frequency composition based on variations in pulse length of a pulse signal inputted from a hall IC18 every predetermined period. Higher strength of oscillation in each oscillation frequency composition in a state to prevent the disturbance from being given to a vehicle is set in a memory 12a and, at the same time, in strengths of the oscillation in each oscillation frequency composition in a state to add the disturbance to the vehicle, a wrong detection decision threshold value set lower than the strength of the oscillation in the oscillation frequency composition corresponding to a disturbance oscillation frequency composition specified in the disturbance is recorded. The control section 12 changes a holding decision threshold value in a different value when the strength of oscillation in the oscillation frequency composition corresponding to the disturbance oscillation frequency in strengths of oscillation in each oscillation frequency composition is higher than the wrong detection decision threshold value, and the holding is detected on the basis of the holding decision threshold value. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
