<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a string length adjusting member for a mask capable of hooking strings of a mask easily and surely and which does not hurt the scalp and does not interfere with the work. <P>SOLUTION: The string length adjusting member for a mask comprises an elastic sheet 100 having a plurality of cuts 103 formed at a plurality of positions. Among the plurality of cuts, a desired cut 103 is selected and its inside 103a is drawn up toward the surface side to form a gap for inserting the other string 5b of the mask.
