LOWER SUBSTRATE, DISPLAY DEVICE HAVING THE SAME, AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress an increase of the number of manufacturing processes for a lower substrate, and to improve a yield.

SOLUTION: The lower substrate comprises a pixel section for displaying an image and a circuit section for driving the pixel section. The circuit section comprises a first signal electrode and a first insulating film exposing the first signal electrode. A second signal electrode is isolated and included apart a prescribed spacing from the first signal electrode on the first insulating film. Also, the first and second signal electrodes are both exposed by a second insulating film formed with contact holes. A conductive film is included on the second insulating film and electrically connects the first signal electrode and the second signal electrode.
