<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To notify the dosage of medicines corresponding to a mealtime of a patient. <P>SOLUTION: The patient stores regular mealtime zones of three meals (for example, a breakfast is from 8:00 to 8:30) in an own IC card 10. A dispensing pharmacy or the like dispenses based on prescription data stored in the IC card 10 and dosage regimen of the dispensed medicines is stored in the IC card 10. A control section 21 of the dosage notification device 20 reads the mealtime zones and the dosage regimen from the IC card 10 via a card interface (card I/F) and finds a dosing time from the mealtime zone. For example, when the breakfast time zone of the patient is from 8:00 to 8:30, the dosing time of the medicine to be taken 30 minutes after the breakfast, is 9:00. The control section 21 drives a notification section 28 at a time point of becoming nine o'clock, and notifies the dosage with a sound and a light.
