<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thunder resistant transformer high in thunder resistance performance, designed to be a thin model suitable for horizontal installation with its height decreased by making a plane parallel to the laminated iron core surface serve as the bottom surface. <P>SOLUTION: The transformer has a secondary coil 5 wound on a connector 12 connecting the ring 11 of a laminated iron core 1, and a primary coil 4 wound on the outside of the secondary coil 5 with an insulator in between. A first conductive shield 6 is wound on the inner side of the secondary coil 5 with an insulator in between, and second conductive shields 7 and 8 are wound between the secondary coil 5 and the primary coil 4 with insulators in between. The first conductive shield 6 and the second conductive shields 7 and 8 are connected to the ground, and the ends of the first conductive shield 6 and the second conductive shields 7 and 8 on the iron core side are surrounded by an insulator 10. The transformer is shaped thin, with its height shorter than its width or depth, this making the transformer suitable for horizontal installation with a plane parallel to the surface of the laminated iron core 1 serving as the bottom surface. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
